A city-based firm has devised ways to design furniture online.Rawat Brothers Furniture Limited has tied up with IMOS - a Germany-based software company - to launch an online portal for furniture designs. Company officials claimed that this is the first-of-its-kind initiative in the country."The software will play an important role in providing end-to-end solutions for consumers. A consumer can now log on to the programme, design their homes with the furniture, colour schemes and also get the estimate for what they order online," said director of Rawat Brothers Pramod Rawat. Over a 100 solutions have been provided in each segment to choose from.The online solution will offer consumers the products and design library online, apart from which the consumer can design his/her own furniture. The order for furniture can also be placed online which will directly get registered with the manufacturing facility.
